Veshesh as the name speaks for itself, some one special, is the percussionist who showcases his talent with enthralling music and matches it beat for beat. This is known as Jugalbandi.
The amalgamation of Western music played by DJ’s and the percussions by Veshesh creates a fusion almost unheard of, and takes the audie...nce by surprise, making them squeal in ecstasy, making him one of the most sought after musicians in India.
He is blessed with an amazing liking for music which he never conceals, rather is proud to exhibit his true love in front of wavering audience, whose love, in fact, is the major source of inspiration behind Veshesh’s compilations. Every part of his mind works tremendously towards everything that pulls him closer to his music.
Apart from all the modern exposure that he has been subjected to, his roots are still intact firmly. As his motto for his life goes, “Work to express, never to impress”, he has worked every inch to prove true to his principles.
All this, not only nourished him as a musician but also made him a man of substance. But his discipline and his serenity makes him stand apart from the crowd.Veshesh’s journey as a percussionist had started long before he himself noticed it. In an incident when he was travelling with his parents, at a petrol pumping station, out of monotony of the journey, he started banging the car’s surface with his hands in a rhythm. The pumping attendant noticed the eager talent in the little Veshesh and preferred telling his father about that. In no time, Veshesh’s father, being an incredible music enthusiast himself, bought him a toy table to ignite the fire of music in him. From then on, there was no looking back. At that time, Veshesh was astonishingly just 3 years old!His never-ending thirst for music has won him many accolades all over. His performances in Dubai and Hong Kong had crowds cheering their heart out for him.He has even presented seminars in schools regarding the empowerment of children interested in music.
The best of the clubs of Delhi has had Veshesh as their DJ and as their percussionist as well.
Many old age homes and the children homes were ecstatic to attend the performance that Veshesh specially composed for them as an honorary gesture.Apart from the music he plays, he is a multi-faceted personality.
